Pendleton - Lt. Bob Burke, Commander of the Pendleton Post, recently presented Indiana State Police Master Trooper Ron Huff with a safe driving award. Master Trooper Huff graduated from the Indiana State Police Recruit Academy in Plainfield on December 20, 1993. Huff has accumulated 500,000 safe driving miles since graduation from the academy.

Master Trooper Ron Huff patrols within the Pendleton District which encompasses Hamilton, Hancock, and Madison counties. He previously has worked out of the Peru Post. Huff and his family reside in Tipton County.
