LAKE COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces I-80/94 (the Frank Borman Expressway) between State Road 53 (Broadway) and Central Avenue will occasionally have additional lane restrictions in each direction between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Nov. 22-25.

Between midnight and 5 a.m. two lanes in each direction may be restricted and the ramp from northbound I-65 to westbound I-80/94 may be closed. During the ramp closure, a posted detour will direct traffic to take eastbound I-80/94 to the clover leaf ramps at State Road 51 (Ripley Street) to I-80/94 west.

This work is in relation to the $97 million Major Moves project widening the Borman between Broadway and Central Avenue in Lake County.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
