Governor Daniels' statement about the selection of Dr. France Cordova as the new president of Purdue University:

"Purdue has chosen the ideal person to continue its recent climb toward the front ranks of America's research universities.  I was deeply impressed during my conversation with Dr. Cordova, and found myself holding my breath in the hope that she would say 'yes' and come to Purdue."
