INDIANAPOLIS (May 3, 2007) - Governor Mitch Daniels has concluded his review of the case of David Leon Woods and has denied his petition for clemency.

Woods was sentenced to death in 1985 for the murder of Juan Placencia in 1984. Woods is scheduled to be executed after midnight on May 4 at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City.
