Indianapolis, IN - Secretary of State Todd Rokita announced his selection to head up the Business Services Division today. Rokita has selected former Pike Township Assessor, Liz Keele, for this role. As Director of Business Services, Keele will be charged with overseeing all state fillings for corporate documents such as Articles of Incorporation, Amendments, and Trademarks. The division is also responsible for filing and serving as the central repository for almost all Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Article Nine documents.

"Business Services is the largest and busiest division of the Secretary of State's Office. It is also the division that has had the greatest technological advancements in the past few years, and we look to Liz to continue our e-government initiatives. It is our goal to make it an office that literally never closes," stated Secretary Rokita.

"I am excited about fulfilling this role. I look forward to furthering the progress in the areas of Corporations, UCC, and Trademarks," stated Keele.

Keele brings over 20 years of public service experience, having served as Pike Township Assessor and as Chief Deputy in the Marion County Assessor's Office.
