Resolve to Be Money Smart in 2010 (Press Conference)
With every calendar change to a new year, Hoosiers across the state take the opportunity to start fresh by resolving to change their behavior for the better. Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita joined forces with the Indianapolis Mayor's office to challenge Hoosiers to focus their New Year's resolutions on being money smart in 2010. A press conference and financial resource fair held December 29, 2009, provided Hoosiers with tips and tools to maintaining those resolutions throughout the year.

Financial Literacy PSA
In a continued effort to support financial literacy, Secretary of State Todd Rokita filmed a PSA for the National Endowment for Financial Education. This PSA stresses the importance of educating today’s youth on concepts like saving, investing and insurance, and directs teachers and parents to the award-winning High School Financial Planning Program (HSFPP) that is already used in several Indiana schools.
