Secretary of State Todd Rokita's Indiana Investment Watch program is dedicated to increasing financial literacy in Hoosiers of all ages. An important part of that mission is supporting teachers who incorporate personal finance in their classroom by hosting professional development workshops and providing financial literacy curriculum and resources. Listed below are some of those resources. Focus on the Future is a webcast filmed each week for fourteen consecutive weeks and available on demand at no cost to your school. The program covers all aspects of personal finance including banking, insurance, investing, ID theft, frauds and scams, lending, mortgage finance and much more. The webcast includes a guest each week who is an expert in his or her field.

Indiana Council for Economic Education (ICEE) The ICEE is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to increasing economic literacy in Indiana. Its mission is to prepare students to become active citizens and productive member of our economy by providing them with the ability to make sound economic decisions. The ICEE provides several resources for teachers, including Classroom Mini-Economy, Playdough Economics and the Indiana Stock Market Game. The ICEE also hosts regular professional development workshops for teachers. |
