Anthem Blue View Vision Select will provide vision coverage in 2010. There will be no change to benefits, but there will be a small change in provider access from EyeMed’s Access to Anthem Blue View Vision’s Select network.

Like dental, this benefit will also have a small premium. For single coverage, the bi-weekly premium will be 17 cents; family coverage will run $2.52.

Blue View Vision’s select network also includes convenient retail locations, many with evening and weekend hours, including LensCrafters®, Target Optical®, JCPenney® Optical, Sears OpticalSM, and Pearle Vision® stores. Best of all – when you receive care from a Blue View Vision Select participating provider, you can maximize your benefits and money-saving discounts.

Out-of-Network Services

Did we mention we’re flexible? You can choose to receive care outside of the Blue View Vision Select network. You simply get an allowance toward services and you pay the rest. (In-network benefits and discounts will not apply.) Just pay in full at the time of service and then file a claim for reimbursement.

Please note the toll-free number for locating a laser vision correction provider is changing effective 1/1/2010. If seeking a laser vision correction provider now through 12/31/2009, please call 1-877-5LASER6. Beginning 1/1/10, please call 1-877-330-2020 True Vision or 1-866-767-2179 Premier Lasik to locate a participating laser vision correction provider.
