The dental plan through Delta Dental provides 100% diagnostic and preventive coverage, as long as an in-network dentist is used.
Also covered 100% is emergency palliative treatment (used to temporarily relieve pain), x-rays and sealants (to prevent decay of pits and fissures of permanent back teeth). There are limits to the coverage of sealants, however, so check with Delta Dental before agreeing to the treatment.
By using an in-network dentist oral surgery, fillings and the repair of diseased, damaged or injured teeth is covered at 80% of the cost.
