Indiana State Personnel Department

Indiana State Personnel Department Onboarding

Onboarding > Employee Training > Required Training Required Training

Welcome to your career in Indiana State Government. All new employees are required to complete the following trainings:

  1. Ethics
  2. Information Resource Use Agreement
  3. Sexual Harassment Prevention

You will automatically be enrolled into the Ethics and IRUA course. Any new hire that attends Orientation in central office (Indianapolis, IN) receives credit for the instructor-led version of the Workplace & Sexual Harassment Prevention training. If you have completed e-orientation online, you are enrolled into the computer-based Sexual Harassment Prevention training. All required trainings need to be completed in the first two weeks of employment. You can review the following quick step guide for instructions on how to locate these courses online.

The State Personnel Department also offers a variety of training courses throughout the year to supplement agency specific training. You can review the course catalog by logging into PeopleSoft ELM and following this navigation: ELM Training/Self Service/Browse Catalog or by viewing our current instructor-led calendar.

If you have any questions about required training, the SPD course catalog, or Onboarding please contact the Division of Employee Engagement at
