Q: What time do the gates open? Close?
A: Gates Open - 6am on opening day and on August 14. Gates open at 8am during rest of Fair. Gates Close - Admission tickets will no longer be accepted/sold after 9:30 pm

A: You can check out the Specials on the Midway page.
Q: What can/cannot we bring to the concerts?
A: You may not bring video cameras, laser lights, glass bottles or coolers to the concerts. Flash cameras can be brought into the concerts. Rules may vary with each concert according to the show's manager.
Q: Where can we rent wheelchairs/strollers?
A: We rent strollers, wheelchairs and motorized carts at Gate 1, Gate 12 & near Grand Hall. Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis and some items require a deposit. Prices are as listed: Strollers $9.00; Wagons $13.00; Wheelchairs $15.00; EVC (electric motorized cart) $45.00. Some vehicles require a deposit. (Prices subject to change)
Q: Is alcohol sold or permitted?
A: No, alcohol is neither sold nor permitted on the Fairgrounds during the State Fair.
Q: What types of lodging is close by?
A: The Marten House Hotel located on W. 86th St. is the official hotel of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Call 1-800-736-5634 for reservations or visit The Marten House Hotel.
