Sale of Champions: August 15 at 7pm
Of the 24 projects sold at the Indiana State Fair's 39th annual 4-H Sale of Champions, 11 set individual records. The sale in the Pepsi Coliseum raised a total of $231,855, making it the fourth year in a row that the Sale of Champions has raised over $200,000. These 24 items represent the "cream of the crop" from over 8,000 exhibits entered at the Indiana State Fair. 4-H members offer the Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champions from the beef, sheep and swine projects, along with eight superior items representing the rabbit/poultry/horticulture/dairy goat/dairy cow and wool projects. This money helps 4-H members attend college, purchase breeding animals and develop future careers. You can help support youth leadership by attending this year's Sale of Champions.
