YEAR OF POPCORN
Pop-Arazzi – Find Popcorn at the Fair
World’s Largest Popcorn Ball pres. by Indiana's Family of Farmers – While popcorn has become an “anytime” snack, popcorn balls are known more as a special snack often created for special occasions. With help from our friends at Weaver Popcorn, the fair has made the World’s Largest Popcorn Ball! This 5,200 pound spectacle will be unveiled Aug. 3 in the Ball State Ag/Hort Building and be on display throughout the remainder of the fair.
Subaru presents The A-maize-ing Popcorn Adventure – Maybe you’ve been through a corn maze before, but probably not a popcorn maze. Now is your chance! Wind your way through the fun popcorn maze located immediately east of the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand. Max, his dog Munch, and Professor Popcorn will teach you interesting, fun things about popcorn as you navigate the maze.
- The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) joined up with the fair in 2010 when it built the Boy Scouts Legacy Bridge on the fairgrounds’ east side in honor of their 100th anniversary. This year at the fair you’ll even be able to purchase the beloved Popcorn that they sell each fall. Weaver Popcorn Company has been making Trail’s End brand popcorn products for over 30 years, partnering with the Boy Scouts of America to help troops and councils raise over 2 billion dollars to fund their yearly programs and activities. More than 24,000 Packs and Troops, up to 280 Boy Scout Councils across the United States participate in selling Trail’s End each fall.
