On June 28, 2016, the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) announced more than 330 community-based arts providers and individual artists throughout Indiana will receive grants for Fiscal Year 2017.
The Commission approved grant allocations totaling more than $3.02 million in state and federal funds for grants and programs provided by arts organizations and cultural providers throughout the state, including grants to individual artists.
Since the beginning of 2015, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has been gathering stories from the general public and grantees, elected officials and agency directors, artists and art lovers across the country about the importance of art in their lives and their communities. This project entitled "United States of Art" is part of the NEA's 50th anniversary celebration -- and you're invited to join! Share your arts story here.
