The Marion County Judicial Selection Committee is beginning the process of selecting a new superior court judge. Judge Cynthia J. Ayers (R) will retire effective March 15, 2024, creating a vacancy on the Marion Superior Court.
Following local court rules, the Marion Superior Court Executive Committee offered any sitting judge the opportunity to transfer courts. The transfer period has closed. A judge transferred to Court 4 creating a vacancy in Level 6/Misdemeanor, Criminal Division.
