Rick Caldwell - American Veterans
Rick Caldwell has been the manager of Director of Logistics for CA-MCCO Command for the Adjutant General's Agency (Indiana National Guard), as a Non-Exempt State Employee since October 2012. He has overseen all logistical, supply, and inventory management, transportation actions and special purchases, policies, and requirements. He assisted in the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and annual goals and objectives. His prior extensive military leadership background made him a good fit, utilizing education, consultation, cooperative programming, and coordination to accomplish Logistical Management goals. Rick has been the State Civilian Employee Safety Officer at Camp Atterbury for the last 8 months.
Rick served 32 years of military service in logistical, administrative, and managerial support and leadership of military operations. He held the rank of Sergeant Major upon his retirement, 31JAN 2008, with INARNG. His last assignment was with 381h DISCOM responsible for providing coordinated, effective, and efficient delivery of services for all tenants and activities within command elements. Rick served honorably, both on active duty and as a traditional reservist, after volunteering during the draft years of the Vietnam War. He has served during the "Cold War" years, the "Gulf War" years, and the "Global War on Terrorism".

Rick is also a group facilitator for the Columbus "Vet to Vet" PTSD program endorsed by the Veterans Administration. Rick currently serves as the President Indiana AMVETS Department Service Foundation.
Rick is married to his wife Karen, has two married daughters from Indiana, with three grandchildren.
