IDVA selects Hero Hut as 2024 Non-Profit Partner Non-profit serves veterans in Indiana through collaborative spaces at events
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) announced today the selection of Hero Hut to serve as the Non-Profit Partner (NPP) in 2024. The program partners IDVA with an Indiana non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of Indiana’s Veterans. Hero Hut is a team on a mission to build a strong and supportive community for veterans in Indiana. Through collaborative spaces at events, Hero Hut aims to bring together organizations that provide vital resources and support to those who have served. The organization provides a space for multiple non-profits to reach the community free of charge, for maximum impact and collaboration. Guided by the values of community, collaboration, service, respect, and humility, Hero Hut is dedicated to empowering veterans to discover a civilian life defined by service and surrounded by community and IDVA is proud to partner with Hero Hut in its mission to strengthen the greater veteran community. “Our entire Hero Hut team is beyond excited to be selected as the IDVA NPP 2024 partner! IDVA is by far one of the best partner organizations that our team has worked with across the entire country,” said David Hoffmaster, Hero Hut founder and executive director. “Their team is amongst the best in the nation in creating innovative ways to provide community, assistance, and outreach to veterans and their families. This partnership will allow us to collaborate with numerous organizations across the state on dozens of projects, all with the focus of building community and providing access to vital resources.” Together, IDVA and Hero Hut will plan the annual IDVA golf outing as well as other community events throughout the year to raise funds for Hero Hut’s mission; raise awareness of state and federal benefits available to veterans; and foster community, camaraderie, and connection. "Our mission at IDVA is to make Indiana a beacon for veterans to Live, Work, and Thrive. Hero Hut's community-driven approach resonates deeply with our goals, and I'm thrilled to partner with them to amplify our impact,” said Joseph DeVito, IDVA Outreach director. “This partnership continues to support the ecosystem that empowers Indiana's veterans to thrive in every aspect of their lives. We look forward to working with them throughout the year.” More information about Hero Hut can be found on IDVA’s homepage or by clicking here. ### About the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) is a state agency dedicated to serving.
