In a national survey, 20.9% of Indiana adults reported having a mental illness in the past year. Among young adults (age 18-25), 27.5% reporting having a mental illness but only 17.6% received mental health services. (National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 2017)
When surveyed, more than 30% of high school students in Indiana reported feeling significantly sad or hopeless in the past year. (Indiana Youth Survey, 2018)
