INDIANAPOLIS (February 6, 2006) ? Governor Mitch Daniels today announced three appointments to the Ball State University Board of Trustees.
?We have been careful to select Hoosiers of proven educational and business experience to serve our colleges and universities,? said Daniels. ?I?m confident the leadership provided by Dr. Gora and the board of trustees will continue to enhance Ball State?s crucial role in Indiana?s economic growth.?
Each appointment is effective immediately and will expire on December 31, 2009.
? Marianne Glick, of Indianapolis, is president and founder of Glick Training Associates. She is currently president of People of Vision and is a board member of Prevent Blindness Indiana and the Central Indiana Community Foundation Women?s Fund.
? Barbara Phillips, of Carmel, is chief learning officer of Gaylor, Inc. Phillips is a former teacher and principal and has graduate and undergraduate degrees in education from Ball State.
? Frank Hancock, of Indianapolis, is founder and chief executive officer of Sport Graphics, Inc. He is a 1970 graduate of Ball State and is vice president of the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township School Board.
