Interagency Council on Black and Minority Health
The Interagency State Council on Black and Minority Health was established to identify and address health disparities, their impact on the state of Indiana, and the actions necessary to improve health outcomes for racial, ethnic, and underserved populations.
Through collaboration with key strategic institutions and community-based organizations, the Interagency State Council on Black and Minority Health seek to reduce health disparities and improve the health of racial and ethnic minorities within Indiana. As part of its service to the residents of Indiana, the Interagency Council is charged with the development of an Annual Report that provides the necessary data and foundation to guide and direct health efforts aimed at reducing health disparities and improving the health of minority populations in Indiana.
