Estimates for Unknown Gestation
An estimated gestational time was calculated for 126 of 154 terminations for which gestation was not reported:
For the 126 terminations without gestational age, the date of the last menses and date of termination was used: 1 (0.8%) occurred at less than 6 weeks; 66 (52.4%) occurred at 6 to 8 weeks; 55 (43.7%) occurred at 9 to 12 weeks; and 4 (3.2%) occurred at 13-15 weeks.
Of the above 126 terminations without gestational age, 5 had the month but not the day of the last menses. These were estimated using the 15th day of the month.
Of the above 126 terminations without gestational age, 2 had the month but not the day of the termination. These were estimated using the 15th day of the month.
For the remaining 28 terminations, the month of the last menses was unknown and an estimated gestation could not be calculated.
