Adds 87 acres to the Spring Creek Seeps Nature Preserve (currently 40 acres in Montgomery County to protect an outstanding wetland complex of very high natural integrity. It features a large fen contained within a glacial outwash valley surrounded by rolling uplands of oak and hickory. A small groundwater-fed tributary stream empties through the property into the nearby Sugar Creek. This addition is considered critical to the long-term viability of the nature preserve.
