A 54-acre addition to an existing 255-acre conservation area owned by NICHES Land Trust. The northern portion of the property includes a 7-acre natural pond in the floodplain of the Wabash River with nesting bald eagles and a high quality upland white oak woodland. The addition will provide better access for the hikers, bird watchers and nature lovers who utilize the existing preserve. This is the first BNT project in Fountain County.
