Legacy Projects > Indiana’s Historic Grain Elevators Indiana’s Historic Grain Elevators

This project plans to seek out Indiana’s historic grain elevators to photograph, sketch and/or create paintings of them in transparent watercolor. The goal is to celebrate these fascinating structures-once an integral part of Indiana’s agricultural heritage and now often forgotten-before they are gone. The final paintings will be on display during the Bicentennial and on the website. Informational will be gathered, mapped and provided along with the photos and paintings to document Indiana’s Historic Grain Elevators.
