The 2016 Door Village Harvest Festival will be dedicated to Indiana’s Bicentennial. The festival theme on September 10 and 11, 2016 will be “Celebrating Indiana’s 200 Years”. It will include a Potawatomi camp, an 1832 pioneer settlement, a Civil War encampment, antique car and tractor display, historic craft demonstrations, musical entertainment from different periods of Indiana’s history, narrated wagon tours, a living cemetery tour and many other events for people of all ages. The newspaper which advertises the festival will feature highlights of Indiana’s history.
