Legacy Projects > Underground Railroad Quilt Raffle Underground Railroad Quilt Raffle

Quilters will create a quilt made of blocks that represent symbols used by the Underground Railroad. The quilt will be raffled to raise funds for other bicentennial projects. In June of 2016, the town of Attica will open their time capsule. The winning quilt ticket will be drawn at the ceremony.

Bethel church in Attica, as well as several houses, were stops on the Underground Railroad. This project will serve as a celebration of the role Attica played in the history of the Underground Railroad in Indiana.
