Legacy Projects > Hoosiers and the American Story Hoosiers and the American Story

As Indiana’s storyteller, the IHS connects people to the past in many ways. This Indiana Bicentennial project will provide: 1) a supplemental Indiana history secondary school textbook; 2) three teacher training workshops in various  locations around Indiana annually for three years (nine total); and 3) new classroom software and advanced technology to bring more than 300 Destination Indiana journeys to Indiana classrooms, based on primary sources from the IHS archives.
