Paul Hadley Bicentennial Park is a multi-purpose urban park that serves as both a Gateway to downtown Mooresville, a new recreation amenity for the community and a memorial to Paul Hadley, designer of the State Flag. The memorial to Paul Hadley includes a modified version of the state flag torch and a limestone outline of the State of Indiana, a spray plaza, multipurpose events lawns, tables and seating, a covered stage area, green screen walls and a time capsule which will be used in conjunction with Indiana’s bicentennial celebration in 2016.
