The seven byways have developed a passport concept to celebrate the state’s bicentennial by promoting heritage tourism on the byway routes. This will be accomplished by a passport booklet divided into seven four-page spreads on which each byway will be mapped and at least one stop per county highlighted. Those stops will have a stamp unique to the byway that can be obtained by the passport carrier.
