Indiana Association of United Ways and its partners will develop and promote a “public art” Bison-tennial project in counties throughout the state. Local artists or organizations will be recruited to decorate scaled fiberglass bison for public display from summer through the December 2016 celebration. The public art will promote the Indiana Bicentennial as well as United Way/Fund work in local communities, helping children prepare for and succeed in school, helping families remain stable and improving health.
