This project is an exhibit, hosted by Wylie House Museum, the 1835 home of the first president of Indiana University, Andrew Wylie, that is up through the calendar year. The museum has an education center next door to the museum, and features approximately ten enlarged copies of historic maps of Indiana which demonstrate the evolution of the state over time. These are displayed in the main public visiting space of the education center. In addition to the maps, we have pulled descriptions of early Bloomington from various sources to give visitors a sense of place and history.
