The DOC 200 project guides and inspires Indiana’s students (grades K-college) into outstanding citizenship by teaching 50 specific life skills that exemplify an outstanding citizen. Students practice these skills four times each, culminating in a total of 200 actions. The DOC 200 skills cover the critical areas of Integrity, Acceptance, Service, and Patriotism, and students are asked to practice outstanding citizenship at home, in school, and in their community. The DOC 200 project goes beyond celebrating Indiana’s Bicentennial. It allows students to actively improve the quality of life and reflect on the values our state was founded upon.
