Step back in time at this exceptional living history event! The Gathering at Five Medals immerses your family in Northern Indiana and the Great Lakes region as it existed more than 300 years ago. Meet re enactors and have an unforgettable historical journey that spans early exploration in the 1670s through Indiana’s statehood in 1816. Experience fur trade between Native Americans and Voyageurs, demonstration of period skills, and so much more while enjoying the natural setting of River Preserve County Park! The Gathering at Five Medals is a celebration of regional and state history. In bringing together re enactors showcasing a wide variety of peoples and cultures central to the Indiana story, the event immerses visitors in a journey through highlights of the Indiana story.
