Legacy Projects > Crowd-Sourced Genealogy of Wabash County Crowd-Sourced Genealogy of Wabash County

The North Manchester Historical Society will invite Wabash County residents to create a crowd-sourced five-generation family tree. People of all ages, from elementary students to senior citizens, will be encouraged to participate. Besides the general population, community schools, youth groups, the local university and retirement homes will be targeted for participation. NMHS will assist with basic research, provide at least one public educational program and provide access to online research sites. NMHS will create a searchable database of the family trees for future reference and will prepare the data for publication, including a digital index.
