Since Indiana and Mount Vernon are both celebrating their Bicentennial this year, our theme is the Bicentennial. The Bicentennial Torch will arrive during the last day of the festival. Mount Vernon River Days showcases our history which started by being located on the Ohio River, its impact on our industry today and tomorrow. It’s a celebration of our town. All ages can enjoy the festival with music, parades, crafts, games and more. Children’s Day is always the first day of the festival with historical demonstrations and crafts. And we end with fireworks!
