The 2016 Indiana State Fair will have as its theme “Celebrating the Bicentennial”. For seventeen days in August, nearly one million Hoosiers will have the opportunity to celebrate the Bicentennial while they enjoy the state fair. Besides having this year’s theme reflect 200 years of Indiana history, activities around the fair will highlight different parts of our shared history and promise for the future. Activities include: The Bison stampede of county decorated life-size bison. These art pieces will be incorporated into our discovery trail for fair visitors. The family arts building will feature art, photography, crafts and displays with Bicentennial themes. Themed activities will have a logo to alert visitors.
