This quilt is the guilds’ way of bringing the Bicentennial celebration to the public. The Indiana Bicentennial Quilt will be displayed and the design significance discussed with the public at the 2016 Shelby County Pioneer Fair and at other meetings. The quilt was made by the Shelby County Historical Society Bear Paw Quilt Guild and each feature found in the quilt relates to the state in some way. The quilt will be displayed at the Grover Museum at 52 Broadway in Shelbyville, IN, and at the Shelby County Pioneer Fair. It will then be raffled during the 2016 dinner meeting at the museum in November.
