Legacy Projects > Giant Map & Timeline of Delaware County Giant Map & Timeline of Delaware County
The Giant Map of Delaware County is part of a statewide initiative to map Indiana’s counties for the state’s Bicentennial. The project entails the production of a large-format map of Delaware County (10’x10’). Besides common geographical features, the map will include locally relevant details such as schools, libraries, historical sites, etc. It will be accompanied by a giant timeline of the county, in relation to events in the state and the U.S., relating important and socially significant events, 10 laminated copes of the legend, and five color laminated aerial photos and satellite images of Delaware County.
