Staff present: Sarah Nagy, Executive Director/Counsel; Jackie Reiner, Administrative Assistant, James Holden, Assistant Director

The Chairman called the meeting to order at approximately 9:05 A.M. The Commissioners approved the minutes of the February, 2001 meeting.

Decision to Ratify FAO 2001-1

(A) Whether an accounting firm which provides services to a lobbying entity or on behalf of a lobbying effort must register and report as a lobbyist?

The Commissioners agreed unanimously to ratify FAO 2001-1. A copy of FAO 2001-1, as ratified and published, is attached and incorporated to these minutes by reference.

MISC

Staff report was given.

The Commissioners unanimously agreed to refer Auto Dealer's Exchange, The City of East Chicago, and Gary Public Transportation Corporation to prosecuting authorities for their failure to file mid-year activity reports for the year 2000. The Executive Director was instructed to make the written referral pursuant to the official action of the Commissioners.

Public comment was accepted.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:35 A.M.

The Commissioners and staff then convened into executive session.
