This initiative was developed and funded by the Indiana State Department of Health. It is a collaborative effort with contributions by academic institutions, healthcare organizations, patient advocate organizations, quality experts, and healthcare providers.
The goal of the initiative is to significantly reduce the number of healthcare associated infections throughout healthcare settings in Indiana. A key component is providing caregivers, patients, and their families information on how to speak up and prevent infection. This course supports Indiana’s commitment to “know the facts” and “take action.”
