Today the Indiana
Utility Regulatory Commission approved an order, which will result in lower
prices for customers of the Ohio Valley Gas Corporation in February, March and
April 2002.
In Cause No.
37354 GCA 73, the Commissioners agreed that the savings should be passed along
to consumers. Ohio Valley Gas provides
service to the public in Connersville, Everton, Lyonsville, Springersville, and
rural areas of Fayette County; Clinton Corners, Negangard Corner, Penntown,
Sunman, and rural areas in Ripley County; rural areas in Franklin County;
Brownsville, Liberty, and rural areas in Union County; Cannelton, St. Marks,
Tell City, Troy, and rural areas in Perry County; Dover, Guilford,
Lawrenceville, Logan, New Alsace, St. Leon, Yorkville, and rural areas in
Dearborn County; and rural areas of eastern Spencer County west of Troy; all in
Indiana.
