GAS BILLS TO GO DOWN FOR CUSTOMERS OF INDIANA GAS

 

Customers of Indiana Gas will see a decrease in their gas bills starting in September.  Today, in Cause No. 37394-GCA 71, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved a decrease in the company’s Gas Cost Adjustment for September, October and November 2001.  The Commissioners are making sure that customers see immediate savings from the lower prices of wholesale gas.  The table below shows the impact on customers.

The Commissioners are satisfied that the company has made every reasonable effort to acquire long-term natural gas supplies at the lowest cost reasonably possible.

 

Indiana Gas provides natural gas services to 524,427 customers in Indiana.
