Customers of Indiana Gas will pay less to heat
their homes in December 2001 and January and February 2002.
In cause 37394-GCA 72 the Commissioners approved the GCA factor, which
is lower than the last quarter, and also lower than customers paid last
winter.

The Commissioners will also allow Indiana Gas to continue to lower the
rates on a monthly basis, so it can immediately pass savings along to its customers
should the price of natural gas continue to decline.
