The photographs highlight the fair’s history and uniqueness, from the construction of buildings and aerial shots of fairs’ past to the various attractions held at the fairgrounds. The collection spans from the fair’s inception in 1864 to the present. The Indiana State Fair picture collection is available to researchers in the Manuscripts & Rare Books Division the Indiana State Library. Digital copies may be purchased by making a request for reproduction.
