Energy Fuels

Source: IURC 2024 Annual Report

Indiana’s energy fuel mix is diverse and is changing to meet demands. A diverse and balanced fuel mix helps to keep costs competitive and affordable for consumers. It mitigates risk of overreliance on any single fuel source, thereby increasing overall energy reliability and resiliency. If fuel source supply is disrupted or becomes too costly for any reason, a diverse fuel mix allows for flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
