Welcome to the State of Indiana Online Verification Service. This new service allows for quick and simple verifications to other states, so you can get licensed and to work as soon as possible.
Upon receipt of payment you will receive a Digitally Certified PDF document that contains your license information as of the date and time of download. That document can be e-mailed to another state board to prove your license status in Indiana for verification. Since the document is digitally certified, the authenticity of the file can be checked for free on our website to prove that the document has not been modified.
After the download is complete, a file dialog box will appear on your screen. You will be given the option to either open or save the electronically certified license record.
- SAVE the document to your PC by replying SAVE to the first dialog box that appears, this saves the document to your PC.
- OPEN the document when prompted by the second dialog box which appears to View the Certified License Record previously saved to your PC.
If the validity of a record is ever disputed, saving the document will give you the opportunity to later upload the electronically certified record to verify its authenticity.
Electronically certified license records are delivered in .pdf format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the .pdf. If you don't have the Reader, download it here.
This application uses processes that follow the requirements of Indiana's Electronic Digital Signature Act, Ind. Code 5-24-1-1 et seq. and rules developed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts, 20 IAC 3-1 et seq. to establish a valid digital signature.
