A Message from the Mayor
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Ligonier. This city has so much to offer! Founded in 1835, you will find streets filled with a collection of the most unique variety of Historic Architecture in Northern Indiana.
Although we work hard to preserve our historic past, we strive to achieve much in the present and at the same time plan for the future.
Ligonier's variety of churches, schools, service clubs, job opportunities, parks, sites of interest, and festivals make it a great place to live. We consider our community leaders and citizens to be our greatest asset.
As mayor, I find Ligonier to be a caring, sharing community with a focus on quality of life. No matter if you come to visit or are looking to relocate, I encourage you to join us!
