Suggestion for Purchase

Patrons who are in good standing with the Covington-Veedersburg Public Library may suggest specific titles to be added to the library collection.

Please check the lists below of authors whose books come automatically by standing order before submitting a request.

The Covington-Veedersburg Public Library strives to meet the needs of our patrons. We will make every effort to provide materials that our readers request if they fit the library collection policy and budget.

Suggestion for Purchase Form

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Borrowing by ILL is a process which enables patrons to access items from many libraries throughout the state of Indiana. Items must have been published at least six months prior to the request in order to be eligible for loan through ILL.

Patrons must be in good standing with the Covington-Veedersburg Public Library in order to use this service.

Items must be returned promptly and cannot be renewed. Limit - five items per week per patron.

Which Authors Books are Automatically Ordered by the Library?

The Covington and Veedersburg Public Libraries each maintain a list of popular authors whose books will be automatically shipped to each library as soon as the books are published.

The library will receive these standing order books when the hardcover edition is published, with the exception of Christian fiction titles only published in softcover versions.
