Request for Proposal
The South Central Region 8 Workforce Board, Inc. is currently seeking proposals and anticipates awarding one or more contract(s) to an organization(s) to provide Staff to the Board, One-Stop Operator Services and Service Provisions for WIOA Services, Business Services, JAG and potentially other programs. The successful bidder will enter negotiations for a contract from July1, 2025 to June 30, 2028, with an optional one-year extension at the discretion of the WDB for a total of four (4) years.

The South Central Region 8 Workforce Board, Inc. (WDB) is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation which has oversight of employment and training programs in the following eight counties: Brown, Daviess, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange and Owen. The WDB serves as a pass-through entity providing employment and training programs in the Economic Growth Region 8. (South Central Region 8 Workforce Board, Inc.) using a variety of state and federal grant resources, including those available through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) and Business Services. The WDB is governed by a volunteer board that will initiate program directives and provide oversight and guidance on program operations. Crowe LLP serves as Fiscal Agent with full time staff and records located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Virtual Client Engagement Portal
The Virtual Client Engagement Portal is a new virtual tool to connect with an expert and learn more about the programs and services available through your local WorkOne Center. Individuals need to establish or log into an Access Indiana account to participate.
Log into the WorkOne Portal to:
- View and schedule virtual appointment via video conferencing or phone
- Communicate with your WorkOne representative
- Share, review and sign documents safely between you and your WorkOne representative

Unemployment Insurance
Please be aware - Local WorkOne staff DO NOT have access to Unemployment Insurance claimant information and are NOT able to answer individual UI questions or resolve payment issues.
