| Imported cookware products made from aluminum, brass, and aluminum alloys known as Hindalium/Hindolium or Indalium/Indolium | On 12/12/24 the U.S. FDA issued a letter to distributors of cookware products. Certain imported products made from identified metals demonstrated the potential to leach lead into food. The FDA is concerned that food cooked in these products could cause harm if served to small children, people of child-bearing age, and those who may be breastfeeding. FDA placed manufacturer of cookware, Rashko Baba Co. Ltd. on an FDA import alert to prevent further sale in the U.S. market.
